Summary

betterimage.io is a free social card editor in your browser. It produces 1200×630 images you can use as link previews (Open Graph, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook), blog hero images, newsletter covers, or in-post graphics. You can use it without an account. If you create one, you can save designs as reusable templates. The terms below describe what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

What the service is today

• A browser editor for 1200x630 PNG social cards (Open Graph image, blog hero, newsletter cover, in-post graphic). Four templates: Basic, Profile, Testimonial, Minimal.
• A free download of the rendered image, with a small "Made with betterimage.io" mark in the corner.
• An optional paid download: a one-time $4.99 payment via Stripe Checkout for the same image without the mark. The download link stays usable for 7 days. No subscription.
• An optional free account that lets you save designs as templates (including an uploaded photo or logo) and reopen them later.
• The service is currently in beta. Features can change; we may take the editor offline for short periods of maintenance.

Your account

• You must use a real email address you control. Confirm the address from the link we send so you can save templates.
• You are responsible for keeping your password private. If you suspect someone else has access to your account, change the password from settings.
• One account per person. Do not share accounts.
• You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your saved templates together with any images stored with them.

Your content

• You own the images you create. The rendered PNG is yours to use commercially or personally, including with the watermark in place.
• You must have the right to use any photos, logos, or text you upload or type into the editor. Do not upload material you do not have permission to use.
• Do not use the editor to create content that infringes intellectual property, defames a person, harasses, or violates applicable law.

Acceptable use

• Do not try to disable or overwhelm the service (denial-of-service attempts, abusive rate-limit bypass, repeated automated scraping).
• Do not attempt to bypass the authentication, rate-limit, or watermark controls.
• We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.

Payments and refunds

• The watermark-free download costs a one-time $4.99, charged by Stripe at checkout. The price is always shown before you pay. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
• After payment you get a download page whose link stays usable for 7 days, so a dropped connection does not cost you the purchase. Purchases made while signed in are also listed on your purchases page.
• If you paid and cannot get your image, email [email protected] with the payment receipt and we will provide a working download or refund the payment.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy describes what we collect, store, and do not do. By using the service you accept the practices described there.

Service is provided as-is

We provide betterimage.io on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, render performance, or that every feature works on every device. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms when we change how the service works. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top. If the change is material and affects account holders, we will email the address on file before it takes effect.
